Centric HOR overload clutch provides torque protection from bottle and can filling, capping and labeling mis-feeds which can cause damage to a starwheel or drive mechanism causing unplanned expenses due to downtime and unscheduled maintenance. Centric overload clutches limit torque to a preset level and provide the rotational timing necessary for these types of applications while extending machine life, reducing maintenance costs and increasing productivity.

Warner Electric power-take-off (PTO) clutches and clutch/brakes provide an efficient and reliable means to control mechanical power delivery to various implements. Models are available with torque capacities ranging from 60 lb-ft to 1,650 lb-ft. Their electric operation simplifies installation and allows for remote activation. Most models also feature an optional braking function for quicker stopping of rotating implements. Additionally, models with torque capacities between 250 lb-ft and 1,650 lb-ft are available as a packaged clutch and SAE bell housing assembly.

Warner Electric wrap spring clutches and clutch/brakes feature high torque-to-size ratio, low energy consumption and long life. They are particularly well suited for indexing, positioning and backstopping applications. Our wrap spring clutch/brake combinations are electrically actuated while our wrap spring clutches are mechanically actuated. Models are available with torque capacity ratings from 25 lb-in to 5,000 lb-in.

Warner Electric SFM series clutches provide an efficient and reliable means to control mechanical power on a wide variety of agricultural equipment. Their electric operation simplifies installation and allows for remote actuation. SFM series clutches are designed to metric standards and are available with torque capacities from 7 Nm (5 lb-ft) to 500 Nm (368 lb-ft). SFM series clutches incorporate a stationary magnet which eliminates the need for brushes and collector rings.

Stieber CSK overrunning clutches are engineered for a wide range of industrial applications that require a high-performance, compact solution. This versatile sprag type freewheel is integrated into a 62 series ball bearing (except for sizes 8 and 40). It is bearing-supported, delivered pre-lubricated, and offers protection against dust. The CSK is available with “nylos” type seals for working temperatures exceeding 50°C, and oil bath lubrication is also permitted. Designed with “formchromed” sprags, it offers up to seven times the lifespan of standard sprag technology.

The growing integration of different drive forms in drive trains hybrid technologies and the development of low-consumption drives require the activation and deactivation of diverse subassemblies. They also require clutches with low consumption and an excellent torque to space ratio that can disengage quasi free from residual torque.
